Leadership Chattanooga Leadership Chattanooga is a 10-month leadership development program that identifies people of promise in early- or mid-career, familiarizes them with community issues and services and develops their leadership skills to prepare them for prominent business, cultural, and political roles.
The program sponsored by the Chamber Foundation is informative, challenging and motivational. It provides comprehensive training through interaction with the community's top leadership, experiential learning opportunities and community service team projects. Each month the Leadership Chattanooga class focuses on different issues.
Topics Include: Economic Development Arts & Quality of Life Civic and Political Leadership Education Planning and Design Revitlizating Neighborhoods State Government Justice and Human Rights
Field experiences include joining Chattanooga police on patrol duty and meeting with state leaders in Nashville.
Some 850 people have graduated from Leadership Chattanooga since it was established in 1984.
The alumni list reads like a Who's Who of Hamilton County. Graduates include U.S. Rep. Zach Wamp, U.S. Senator Bob Corker and multiple City Council members.

Chattanooga Insight Sharpen your focus on your new community. Bring a broader understanding of local issues to your new position. Offered in the spring and fall of each year, this popular Chamber program provides business executives with an overview of Chattanooga that describes our roots, reviews our renaissance and looks ahead to future projects.
Chattanooga Insight is for people who want to learn more about our schools, neighborhoods, economic development, quality of life, public safety and our minority populations. The program is presented by local leaders in government, business, education and other key areas. These keen observers and seasoned professionals weave a rich tapestry of perspectives on the community. Presenters have included County Mayor Claude Ramsey, City Mayor Ron Littlefield and UTC Chancellor Dr. Roger Brown.
